Dear student of a university marketing Mexico:

belong to a new generation of marketers, your average age is about 20 years and have serial digital DNA. Users are responsible for digital rather than brand, and technology use such a natural way no longer distinguishes between digital and analog life life because your life is one. And so you have the opportunity to be a marketer than to those of all the generations that preceded you. Building

you have only two or three semesters to complete your studies and start your career in the labor market, it is time to make contacts with different brands or agencies to prepare for your internship, ask yourself even leaving your city to attend one of the many marketing conferences that celebrated all over Mexico throughout the year in which to learn from the experiences that some speakers share in them. As

sometimes I tend to be one of those speakers who come to these events, here are some tips to let the two can make the most of our meeting if we can match:

- are young and parties are part of your life But do not let your vision blurs just party or the purpose of why you travel to a distant place to attend a conference, even if you're crude, get up to go to the conference, otherwise there is no forgiveness.

- If we meet here to make me famous for leaving in a quiz show, please do not forget to attend the event as someone who will talk about marketing , not as a famous TV needs a court of sycophants.

I have not much to say about it, only that I've spent hours touring the world with Google Maps and Street View application. I do not know how long it takes online, but I was in love, the only bad thing is that you can get to steal several hours to be exploring streets and buildings looking for directions. The route is fairly dynamic, you can rotate to any angle to see around you and even walk the streets virtually through the arrows. Thanks google!

With few resources (virtually zero) but lots of dedication began with the planning of the congress ADHESIVE 2009.
For there the month of April 2009 we met to talk Ilse, Karime, Jaqueline, Viridiana, Patricia and I remember that we were taking a chela jajaj patty's house and then began to share good experiences and opinions about our careers (and design markets dah! Course)
We thought that probably this issues such as our school frustration, that miedito of "What to do out of school" and the traumas of lack of experience could also be issues of interest to others.

So we started meeting once a week to agree. We took months of work and sleepless nights that dis fruit all our foul being.
Drafted documents for support of our institutions, to give us the go-ahead, a council, which was input to develop the project.
we had already confirmed our lecturers, planning time and duration of each lecture and workshop, the content and the whole show. We approached with our university coordinators of for the project and what we had, calling the college campus to host the congress. At first everything was hunky-dory. The coordinators were well emocionaditas and we smiled and we thought "what a great wave uuuy our university, we support"
The problem with universities, as not all, but at least I experienced my school, you do not listen. Are always on the run and run and forming pictures of "great university family" but really do not listen. It turns out that all changed when we said "We invite all schools to participate" fuuuuuuuuuum ... the previous day's smiles became stiff and cold expression. And good for them more no longer gave us the classic "patadon in the butt" a polite and diplomatic.

I have no problem with being told that no, indeed, welcome the honesty and to put the cards on the table. What is not welcome is the lack of ethics, hypocrisy, Si but No. I tell you who support you and the next day to start your advertising, you will not let you use space for which a monthly all parties will continue to pay the mother. The obstacles and excuses ... especially when our objective is to share ideas with our colleagues and incidentally give some boost to our institution.

If this story is precisely because it was these obstacles which made us appreciate our work, and appreciate everyone who supported us and trusted us. All of you who made this reunion.

Well, since this has been the best experience I had: The support of all of you, good vibe and participation. I think the most beautiful that occurred in this series of conferences was precisely that, which we all participate together. There were no protocols, there were talks sincere, honest questions, honest answers and a contribution chida.

The workshops were excellent. We learned things that really do not teach you in school, things will serve you when you get out of the little bubble.
The Campaign simulator workshop taught by Eduardo Barrera was my favorite. jajajaj remember that we all put in our paper: Clients and creative. Some were tossed for the first time a brief to be delivered to the creative. Staging was quite interesting. We all feel the stress of delivery of the proposal, the client put their bows, the customers called the creative team to pressure, the creative team discussed, it was very real. The result of the workshop was better than expected.


And what about the workshop of Carlos Ramirez. Saw viral marketing strategies, co-marketing, promotions quite interesting for different brands like C & A, Olivetti, Banamex and Concorde. My favorite was that of Olivetti, but the best that you can be my friends, because they were participants in this plan hahaha. Carlos Ramirez was given time to advise all teams, had never seen such patience in a person hahaha and so readily. Throughout the process of broader long in giving confidence to the audience and create incentives. That was very good.

What I can say about Oscar Reyes no longer know. Reyes is a great guy. He showed us his work and gave a workshop where attendees made a photo book on Durango and typography. And there you saw everyone taking pictures, printing, ordering on the floor or table jajajaja assembling sentences. All designing your book.
